Friendship Friday: Jenny Kang

Friday is here again, and this week we have an amazing friend to feature! Jenny Kang is the fashion editor of New York Magazine. She used to work for Lucky Magazine as well as AOL/Huffington Post. I know that if I worked/lived in New York (someday!) I would find her and become best friends with her. Not in a stalkerish way at all. 😉

Her style has been described as Pop-Prep, and I love the easy-going goes mod feeling she’s got going on. Her style is so stinking cute! I also found an awesome inside interview showcasing her apartment. Love love!  All of the photos I found were from articles found on Refinery 29.

Love the hints of neon and adore the blazer!

This makes me really want a huge pair of wooden scissors to play with 😉

Again, the blazer is great! And I love the simplicity paired with the striped zig-zag rug!

The mitt and the bat are back!

As the rest of the civilized world freezes under layers of snow and sleet with temperatures in the 40s…. All of us here in Arizona are preparing for Spring Training in our beautiful 70 degree weather!  Baseball has always been and will always be my favorite sport. With spring training specifically, I love the relaxed atmosphere and the sun shining down. These are the times to tan while enjoying a great cheap baseball game, or relax on the grass while paying no attention to the great baseball game while scouting for cute baseball players. 😉 up to you.

So in honor of the start of the best time of the year, I bring you a collection of shorts!

To start if you are looking for a vintage denim with a stylized twist, look no further! Etsy is the answer!

This awesome shop: ToDYEforDenim, features some vintage denim, dyed and created into new one-of-a-kind shorts. I love these!

And if you are not quite into the rainbow fad, they have some other cool dye effects using bleach……

Now if  you are looking for something a little tamer…

And I just love these thrifted (!) beauties……might be going to scour goodwill soon…..

If you are one of the people struggling through this winter, just look at these shorts and think of warmer days… they are coming!

Enjoy your weekend and see you next week!
