So lately, having long hair, I have had fun experimenting with hair products and styling!
I have not had hair this long since I was little…. so this is big for me!

As much as I can, I try and spend time with my sister (Katie of Katie Jean Designs) and her amazing family. Last night we got to celebrate her husband Jonce’s birthday! I love getting some practice with my camera, and loved even more getting to capture this great night. Katie and Jonce will soon be moving along with their two little boys, Caden and Clive, so I am trying to soak up as much time with them as I can.
I decided to help Katie out and make dinner and a cake for the evening. We made raw vegan tacos (one of our faves) from My New Roots. This recipe is amazing… you can find it HERE.
Then I found this AMAZING new blog called This Rawsome Vegan Life. While drooling over all the recipes, I found a raw, vegan, carrot cake! Super simple to make and came out delicious! We topped it with lavender, pistachios and walnuts. The lavender added such an amazing flavor. You can find that recipe HERE.
And the rest of the night was full of impromptu portraits, blowing out candles and chess….

So this post may be a bit delayed, but why not! So my sister and I picked up my nephew from school and needed some grubbage. So we decided to check out a new restaurant in Phoenix, an extension of Gallo Blanco. Cafe Otro is a smaller scale version of the well known Gallo Blanco, featuring some AMAZING new world Mexican food. This stuff is fresh, delicious, and unique. The setting was perfect as well! Loved the simple modern decor. Really had a great atmosphere. Overall a wonderful experience and efinitely would recommend!

It’s one of those nights. You’re not in the best mood, and the internet (Etsy in my case) sucks you in. It’s also a rare night in Arizona…. it’s raining! It was windy and haboob-ish all day. Then came the down pour! What the heck Phoenix?

So I feel awful that I haven’t been on in awhile! Wedding season has taken over!
I am happy to say I finally got moved into my adorable studio/guest house, and am so excited to show you all a few of my favorite details. It seems when I moved in, I had all my little details put together and in their spot before anything else. I will say I finally did buy some silverware! Progress. 
My Place may be tiny, but I am determined to make it adorable.

In a last minuet effort to have some sort of spring break, I am heading to Disneyland this weekend! woot woot! It’s my last chance for a little vacation before wedding season takes over my life.

I can’t believe I started blogging, already 1 year ago… and so much has changed! Our blog is heading for a whole new start and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
I have been running around crazy lately with my busy schedule. But one thing that is coming up for me…I am moving! I am moving into a small guest house in Willo, the greatest historic district in Phoenix. I cant wait to give it my own little touch and share it. This is basically the first time I have been able to completely give a place my own style and make it my own. Can’t wait to show you all once it’s all done.

It can be safely said…. I am obsessed with cute children’s clothing. Not just cutesy flowers and bumble bees, but the kind of clothing that makes them look like little people! I am talking unique and inspired looks for kids. I am also talking about the things surrounding a child. Toys, artwork for their room, etc. I love these makers on Etsy, providing an alternative to the typical children’s items. Katie and I went through and picked out our favorites.
